TIP Talks on Peace Process Alternatives
In the background of President Trump’s declaration last week, which departed from the traditional assertion that the only solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the two-state solution, The Israel Project has created a unique opportunity to learn about the various alternatives being discussed.
Monday, February 27th from 11:00 to 13:00
Malcha Technological Park Auditorium (Tower Building, 1st floor)
The TED-style event will feature concise, consecutive conversations with proponents of some of Israel’s mainstream plans for peace as well as some lesser-known ideas gaining momentum.
Talks will include representatives of specific campaigns belonging to the following schools of thought:
- Classic two-state solution
- Regional peace
- Unilateral solutions (two-state solution, annexation & more)
- One-state solutions (top-down & bottom-up strategies)
Guests will have the chance to individually interview the speakers at the end of the event with prior coordination.
*A list of speakers will be sent closer to date.
*Light refreshments will be served.
*The event will be livestreamed on TIP’s Facebook page.
