Washington, Aug. 9 - Just a few months after joining forces with Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah group, leading members of Iran-backed Hamas are highlighting their extremist positions and agenda of violence, including their rejection of a two-state solution, their demand for a right of return to Israel for all Palestinians and refusal to give up “one inch” of Palestine.
The motor boat was filled with AK-47 assault rifles, magazines and additional weaponry, AFP reported. The two men aboard the boat were apprehended. It has not been confirmed whether they are of Palestinian or Jordanian origin.

Jerusalem, June 6 – Yesterday, hundreds of Syrians tried to storm the Israeli-Syrian border. Some of them were armed, forcing Israel to defend its sovereign borders from infiltration by violent, foreign nationals. Some see these attempts to infiltrate Israel as part of an orchestrated campaign by Syria’s autocratic ruler, Basher al-Assad, to deflect attention from the massacring of more than a thousand of his own people. It was the second time in under a month that events like this happened. The other Israeli borders, Jordan and Lebanon, for example, were quiet.

Jerusalem, March 12 - Five family members were stabbed to death in their beds early Saturday following a terrorist infiltration into the West Bank settlement of Itamar, close to Nablus.
Israel police report the terrorist broke into the house around 1 am armed with a knife and stabbed the mother, father, a three-month old baby and children ages 11 and three. The victims were apparently sleeping.
Three of the family’s children, age two, six and 12, are still alive.
The terrorist succeeded in fleeing the settlement. Israel police and Israel Defense Forces are searching the area.
“An entire family was killed by despicable and cowardly murderers who murdered children and parents for no reason,” Israel Defense Forces GOC Central Command Maj. Gen. Avi Mizrahi said from the scene.

I recently completed my first State Visit to Israel and Palestine. I did not include Gaza in the trip. Unexpectedly, I left the region with much hope for a fully sovereign Palestinian State and long-lasting peace for the peoples who inhabit that crowded land.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 -- The Israel Project, a non-profit educational organization, will launch a TV and print campaign in Washington as polls close nationwide Nov. 2. The ads, which will run through the following day, will highlight Israel’s efforts for peace and efforts to build a more prosperous future for Palestinians and Israelis through U.S. and Israeli alternative energy innovations to reduce dependence on MidEast oil.
U.S. legislators are pressing for a new round of sanctions against Iran that would increase economic and diplomatic pressure on the Islamic Republic by stopping foreign governments and companies from developing Iran’s energy sector and reducing Iran’s access to the international financial system.
