Hurva Synagogue Rededication: TIP facilitates 1:1 interviews with Naomi Tzur

Israel, March 16:   The Israel Project's Israel Office reacted to the misinformation relating to the re-dedication of the Hurva Synagogue by distributing a fact sheet with maps and photographs to all the Israel-based foreign media.  Correspondents commented that this was timely and the only background information that they received.

Israel, March 15:  TIP-Israel hosted a group of top tier foreign correspondents on an Intellicopter of the Security Fence, Jerusalem and Sderot. Participants included the BBCs new West Bank and Gaza Correspondent, the Wall Street Journal and TRT Turkey’s Bureau Chief. Yigal Caspi, MFA Deputy Director General also joined TIPs flagship tour.

TIP Educates White House Press on Threat of Iran & Israel's Efforts for Peace

Israel, March 9: TIP-Israel reached out to the White House travelling press visiting the region with Vice President Joe Biden. Journalists from the NYT, WPost, CNN, NBC, LA Times, the AP, AFP, AL Jazeera, Bloomberg and Reuters all received a specially prepared press kit focusing on Israel’s efforts for peace, West Bank economic progress, tackling the culture of hate and Israeli-Arab coexistence programs. Additional materials focused on the threat of Iran and experts available for studio interviews.

An Israeli field hospital in Haiti set up by a disaster relief team from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has treated 960 victims, including dozens of children, since a 7.0-magnitude earthquake devastated the island nation on Jan. 12.
