Executive Assistant to President   

The Executive Assistant provides day-to-day direct support to TIP’s president as well as to TIP’s Senior Advisor. Position handles correspondence, emails, appointments, travel and special projects. Position is also responsible for maintaining master office calendar.   Prefer a mature individual who wants to be an executive assistant; a good sense of humor and professional work ethic essential.   Advanced level of proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well Adobe required. Experience working with integrated database systems preferred.   Must be able to effectively plan and manage work flow with limited supervision; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.   BA/BS degree and minimum of 3 years office experience preferred. Please email a cover letter and resume to jobs@theisraelproject.org. No phone calls please.   Sorry, relocation assistance is not available for this position.


Grant Writer and Direct Mail Associate    

Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Grant Writer and Direct Mail Associate is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective foundations and other sources for funding; preparing, monitoring and reporting on all funding request proposals. Position is also responsible for developing direct mail pieces and overseeing the development and production of quarterly newsletters. Must possess a solid understanding of the Middle East and a strong commitment to Israel. Excellent research and writing skills, excellent editing and proofreading skills and excellent presentation skills required.   Must be able to effectively plan/manage work flow on multiple projects with limited supervision.   Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook as well as Adobe PDF and Publisher and utilization of video streaming essential. BA/BS in relevant field preferred; mature individual with minimum of 2 years similar experience preferred. Operations Support Associate    

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to VPOF, the Operations Support Associate is responsible for all activities related to maintaining and updating donor records in in-house and on-line database systems. Key responsibilities include entering contributions into the donor database and generating daily/weekly reports; entering new donors into existing system and updating existing records; cleaning/maintaining in-house and on-line database systems; cleaning and uploading a variety of lists; online donor and prospect research; assist in completing initial conversion of ALL data currently residing in donor database into online database; and synchronization of both databases on a regularly scheduled basis. Operations Support Associate will also be responsible for day-to-day telephone coverage and greeting office guests.  

Must be detail oriented and able to effectively plan/manage work flow on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment essential; high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with an advanced understanding of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and Adobe PDF required.  Familiarization with presentation and office equipment, e.g. PowerPoint projectors, audio and teleconferencing systems, knowledge required; experience working with photocopiers/printers a plus. BA/BS degree required; minimum of 2 years experience required. Development Research/Admin Assistant    

Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Development Research/Admin Assistant is responsible for conducting online research related to prospects and donors, designing and posting online invitations for development events and tracking RSVPs, formatting, uploading and sending development-related emails, updating Development Web page content, assisting in the planning and handling of pre- and post-event logistics for all TIP development events and day-to-day administrative support of the Development Department and Development Team.   High level of proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook as well as Adobe PDF and Publisher required.   Ability to effectively plan and manage work flow on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision essential.   Ability to work off-hours when necessary. Web Content Specialist   

Under the supervision of the Director of Web Advocacy, the Web Content Specialist is responsible for helping to build, develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date websites in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian and related contact databases.   Direct responsibilities will include website product and maintenance, e.g. monitoring and maintaining TIP’s main web side, updating website content and graphics, implementing HTML modifications on existing web pages and assist with the flow of information for the website production group. Will also be responsible for maintaining online contact databases, converting and uploading text, graphic, audio and video files; formatting and emailing out various pieces; running reports. Excellent attention to detail, writing, copy editing/proofreading and web software skills required.   Previous database management experience required but experience with Access, MySQL and database cleaning software preferred. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and CMS are required.   Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision essential and willingness to work off-hours when necessary in a 24/7/365 environment. BA/BS degree required; Web-based online communications/journalism major preferred. Please email a cover letter and resume to jobs@theisraelproject.org.   No phone calls please. Sorry, relocation assistance is not available for this position. 


  JERUSALEM, ISRAEL 

 Arabic Language Web Associate 

Reporting to TIP’s Senior Advisor for Research/Communications in Jerusalem, Israel, the Arabic Language Web Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining TIP’s Arabic website for reporters covering Israel. Success candidate must have significant knowledge about Israel and the Arab world. Excellent written Arabic and reading comprehension, experience with HTML platforms and online research skills are a must, journalism skills a plus.
