Washington, June 21: The Israel Project's Washington, D.C., office welcomed its five Media Fellows for the summer. The Media Fellows partipate in an intensive nine-week program aimed at educating future journalists and advocacy professionals in the art of research, interviewing, writing for publication, communications skills and public relations.

Washington and New York, July 12-13: TIP hosted Israel's Minister of Minority Affairs Avishay Braverman for several on-the-record events in Washington, D.C., and New York. TIP Media Fellows staffed a briefing by Minister Braverman to a packed room on Capitol Hill about "Israeli-Palestinian Economic Cooperation and Prospects for Peace."

TIP and PMW Take Facts to Capitol Hill
Washington, July 21-23: TIP hosted Itamar Marcus, founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch, for a briefing on Capitol Hill and private meetings with high level U.S. officials in Washington, D.C. TIP Media Fellows called Hill offices to set up meetings with the politicians and staffed the briefing by Marcus, which was attended by more than 30 Hill staffers and others.
