Call to Action
Can you take a break from eating Chinese food and support Israel today?
I hope you are having a good holiday season. Meanwhile, however, time is running out to make your year-end tax-deductible contribution to The Israel Project (TIP) today.
Your generous support helps make Israel a safer place by enabling TIP to:
- Protect the US-Israel relationship by educating reporters, leaders and decision-makers
- Fight the threat of Iran by keeping an international focus on stopping the Iran’s nuclear program and their terrorist proxies Hezbollah, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad
- Combat anti-Zionism/anti-Semitism in Europe, Latin America and inside the U.S. by reducing anti-Israel propaganda in the global media
- Build support for Israel on campus so that the future is safer and better
The threats from Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and anti-Semitism globally must be stopped. Your significant help is needed! More can and must be done to protect Israel. As you consider your year-end contributions during this holiday season, support a cause that is near and dear to your heart. I know that you care about Israel. Thus, I am asking you to include The Israel Project (TIP) in your charitable giving.
Thank you and have a happy holiday season,
Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi
P.S. Planned Giving: we want to remind you that as part of the 2010 Tax Relief Act, individuals aged 70½ and older can donate up to $100,000 from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) directly to public charities, including TIP, without having to count the distributions as taxable income. This opportunity is currently available through December 31, 2011. Since the provision was first enacted, Americans have made millions of dollars of new contributions to non-profits. For more information, please contact Cathy Bolinger, at cathyb@theisraelproject.org. New gifts and increases will be matched 1-1 so your donation makes twice the difference!
